Residence around a Quarry - Missouri State Assessors' Association

How do you all handle property that is near a quarry?  I had a gentleman in here today and he’s had to have his foundation fixed once already.  Now let me say, he’s been there for 30 plus years and the quarry wasn’t near the size it is now.
